In Her Time
The tenuous relationship with my Mother riddled this project with the need for documenting the relationship between ourselves: Mother and Daughter, exuding intimacy through the narrow point of view we both inhabit. Lillian is a co-collaborator in this project. She chooses the places in which she wants to be documented, including the clothes she wears and also poses herself often suggesting multiple takes, as if we were on a film set. This project has been ongoing for many years in different iterations, but it hasn't been until recent our shoots have been purposeful.
